1998 CommencementMore than 800 students marched across the stage during the 1998 commencement exercises of the Division of Biological Sciences held at the Recreation Hall on June 21. This year’s graduates numbered some 50 more than last year’s class. Charles Soderquist, a UC Davis alumnus (Ph.D., Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry, 1978), former president of the California Alumni Association and regent of the University of California, and president of the Technology Development Center in West Sacramento, was the commencement speaker.UC Davis Biological Sciences Newsletter - Summer 1998 |
