THE 2011 COLLEGE CELEBRATION was a great success!

Attendees of the 2010 College Celebration listen to opening remarks by Ken Burtis, former dean of the College. Denneal Jamison-McClung accepts her 2010 Outstanding Young Alumni Award. Dr. Jamison-McClung graduated from the College of Biological Sciences with a postdoctoral degree in genetics in 2003. Mel Green, professor emeritus, chats with Martina Newell-McGloughlin, International Biotechnology Program Director, before accepting his 2010 Distinguished Service Award. Erin McMurry, Nai Saeteurn, Dawne Shell and Sally DiVecchia: Four smiling faces from the College of Biological Sciences Dean's Office! Undergraduate students and members of the Bio Boosters show their support at the 2010 College Celebration. Terry Murphy, professor emeritus of plant biology, Joe Lin, winner of the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award, and Tom Rost, professor emeritus of plant biology, share a laugh before the awards ceremony. Joe Lin accepts his Distinguished Graduate Alumni Award. Dr. Lin graduated from UC Davis with a doctoral degree in botany in 1975. Attendees of the 2010 College Celebration enjoy refreshments and conversation before the awards ceremony begins.
