2012 College Celebration and Alumni Awards
The College of Biological Sciences will be recognizing the 2012 Outstanding Alumni at the Annual College Celebration on October 4th, 2012. These awards are presented to alumni who have made significant contributions to society and science and whose accomplishments and careers have brought credit to UC Davis.
About the Awards
Outstanding Young Alumni Award
This award goes to a graduate and/or undergraduate student who matriculated within 10 years of the current academic year. It honors alumni early in their careers who have distinguished themselves by contributions they have made to science, by the leadership they have exhibited, or by the benefits to society resulting from their activities.
This year's recipient of the Young Alumni Award is:

Distinguished Alumni Award
This award goes to a graduate and/or undergraduate student who matriculated more than 10 years from the current academic year. Nominees have a particular achievement of noteworthy value, a series of such achievements, or a career of noteworthy achievements. Nominees have contributed to science, exhibited leadership, and benefitted society in some way.
