Tutoring, Workshops, and Resources for Students with Special Needs
Students admitted to UC Davis have the academic qualifications to succeed. Academics may have been easier in high school, but now the classes will be considerably more difficult and the competition more intense. There are a multitude of resources on campus that are available to help you succeed.
Studying for Success
- Studying will be more important than ever and vital to achieving goals. Students should plan a schedule that gives them sufficient time to study. At UC Davis, units are allocated by the Carnegie rule. At a minimum, students are expected to study 2 hours outside of class for every unit of course enrollment and a normal workload is 15 units per quarter.
